Making Ghee Rice (Ney Choru)
Ingredients
(1) Raw rice – 2 cups
(2) Big onion – 1 (chopped)
(3) Cardamom – 4
(4) Clove – 2
(5) Cinnamon – 2 pieces
(6) Ghee – ½ cup
Procedure
Heat pieces of big onion in ghee and stir well. Then add cinnamon, cardamom and clove in that and continue to heat and stir. Then add rice and roast that. When it cracks, pour 4 cups of boiled water, add salt and keep the vessel closed with a lid. When the rice is cooked, take out and serve.
