How to make Cheeda at Home
Cheeda Making at Home
Ingredients :
(1) Rice flour – 5 cup
(2) Roasted black gram flour – 1 cup
(3) Green chilly – 20 Nos.
(4) Salt – adjust to taste
(5) Asafoetida powder – ¼ tea spoon
(6) Butter – 1 ½ table spoon
(7) Coconut milk – as required
(8) White sesame – 1 table spoon
(9) Oil – as required
Procedure:
Sieve the rice flour. Grind green chilly, asafoetida and salt and make it a paste. Mix the paste with the rice flour. Prevent formation of lumps in the flour and mix butter with the flour. Make small balls with the mixture and keep the balls on a spread cloth for 2 hours. Then fry them in heated oil and take back.
