Making Cauli Flower Stuffed Porotta
(1) Wheat powder – 2 cups
(2) Salt – ½ tea spoon
(3) Warm water – ½ cup
(4) Synthetic butter – 2 – 3 table spoons
(1) Crushed cauli flower – 1 cup
(2) Chopped ginger – 2 tea spoon
(3) Salt – 1 tea spoon
(4) Masala powder – 1 tea spoon
(5) Chilly powder – if required, a little.
Mix wheat flour with salt and water for 10 minutes in a big vessel. Then close the vessel with a lid and keep that for 30 minutes. Divide the mixture into 8 equal parts. Make them into small balls. Then spread each ball without much thickness. In each one keep one spoon full of filling. Then make that a roll from one end. Without pressing too much, make it in circular shape. Arrange all the eight balls in this way. Melt butter in a sauce pan. Take one spoon of butter from that and apply inside a broad vessel. Then put the porotta in that. Apply a little butter on the porotta also. Roast the porotta well by flipping again and again. Continue to roast till both sides become brown in color.
After preparing the porotta only the filling may be prepared. Mix all ingredients for filling together and keep them on a bowl. The ingredients must be finely chopped. Then cook them and take out.
