Cabbage Gram Dhal Cutlet ( Cabbage Kadalaparippu Cutlet )
Ingredients :
(1) Cabbage chopped into very small pieces – 1 cup
(2) Grated cheese – ¼ cup
(3) Gram dhal – ¼ cup
(4) Big onion chopped into very small pieces – 1
(5) Ginger – 1 piece (chopped)
(6) Green chilly – 6 (chopped into small pieces)
(7) Pepper powder – 1 tea spoon
(8) Oil – 3 tea spoon
(9) Curry leaves – a little
(10) Bread crumbs – 1/3 cup
(11) Meat masala powder – 1 tea spoon
(12) Salt – adjust to taste
To Apply Externally :
(1) Maida – ¼ cup
(2) Rice flour – ½ cup
(3) Bread crumbs – 1 cup
(4) Oil – as required
Procedure :
Cook the gram dhal, dry out the water, add salt and smash. Take big onion, curry leaves green chilly and ginger in a thick bottomed vessel, heat and stir. Add cabbage also, stir and take the vessel from the stove. Now add cooked and smashed gram dhal, cheese, 1/3 cup of bread crumbs, pepper powder and masala powder. Make small balls with the mixture and make all the balls in the shape of cutlet.
Mix maida, rice flour, salt and water to form a thick solution. Apply this mixture on the cutlet, sprinkle bread crumbs over that, fry in heated oil and collect back.
