How to make Battoora at Home

Making Battoora :


Ingredients :


                     (1) Maida – ½ kg
                     (2) Yeast – 5 grams
                     (3) Sugar – 1 tea spoon
                     (4) Boiled cooled milk – 4 ounce
                     (5) Curd – ¼ cup
                     (6) Soda powder – ¼ tea spoon
                     (7) Salt – adjust to taste
                     (8) Sugar – 1 tea spoon
                     (9) Egg – 1
                    (10) Butter – 30 grams
                      (11) Dalda – 30 grams
                      (12) Milk – sufficient for mixing

Procedure :


Sieve the maida flour. Mix the sugar band yeast in the milk and keep that for 10 minutes to ferment. Mix soda powder in the curd. Now add the fermented yeast, soda curd mixture, 1 tea spoon sugar, salt, egg, dalda and milk into the maida and mix thoroughly. Keep that for 2 hours to ferment. Then stir the mixture once again and keep that for one more hour to ferment. Then make that into small balls, spread the balls in round shape, keep them separately in a vessel and leave for 1 hour to ferment. Lastly, fry them in heated oil and collect back.
