How to make Aloo Porotta at Home
Making Aloo Porotta
Ingredients
(1) Maida – 4 cups
(2) Big onion – 1 (chopped into small pieces)
(3) Coriander leaves chopped into small pieces – ½ cup
(4) Cooked and crushed potato – 2 cups
(5) Cumin seed powder – ½ tea spoon
(6) Lemon juice – 2 table spoon
(7) Chilly powder – 2 tea spoon
(8) Turmeric powder – ¼ tea spoon
(9) Garam masala – ½ tea spoon
(10) Salt – adjust to taste
(11) Oil – as required
Procedure
Heat oil in a pan, add big onion in that and stir. Then add ingredients (3) to (10), heat and dry. On cooling, make that into balls. Mix maida salt and water into a smooth paste with one table spoon oil. After some time make that into small balls and then spread them. Keep a little of the potato curry and cover that and spread again. Put that on a heated kadai, pour oil on both sides and roast it till both sides become crisp.
