.Prepare paneer butter masala curry recipe using good quality paneer &
125 grams paneer
1 tomato (grind to a fine paste)
1 Tsp tomato puree
2 onions (grind to fine paste)
1 tsp Cumin Powder
1 tsp Dhania Powder (coriander powder)
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 tsp cashews
1 Cinnamon stick
1/2 tsp Garam masala powder
1/4 tsp chilli powder
3 Tsp Yogurt
4-5 Tsp butter
Method of cooking paneer butter masala curry
Paneer butter masala curry is a gravy based recipe ,to prepare this paneer
masala curry we will start keeping the ingredients ready ,as this is a
masala paneer curry first of all we will make masala powder by grinding
together cinnamon & clove together to make a fine powder & keep
it aside air tight .
Make tomato paste or puree & keep aside ,grate 2 or 3 paneer cubes
& keep aside – keep ready other ingredients too .
Fry paneer cube in butter & keep it aside.
Light up the stove & place a heavy bottomed pan over the flame ,when
the pan become hot ,add butter or oil & fry onions ,ginger,garlic
paste for 3 minutes .Now add tomato paste and puree,simmer for 5 minutes
Add now cashews powder,coriander powder (dhania)cumin powder,garam masala
powder ,salt ,chilli powder ,extra butter & the masala powder we have
just made & sauté for few seconds ,now add yogurt and stir
until the gravy becomes thick ,Add fried paneer cubes ,grated paneer and
add 1 cup water and boil in low flame for five minutes until all the flavours
are absorbed by paneer pieces .Switch off the stove & transfer the
Paneer butter masala gravy curry to a serving bowl & garnish it with
coriander leaves .
Now our paneer butter masala is ready to be served with any main dish
which requires gravy .
