Paneer curry or Paneer curries are great recipe which is also a good combination with rice ,I think it is the best recipe for those who has rice as their main food ,so I dedicate this paneer curry & all the paneer curries in this site to south Indians .
This Paneer curry recipe is known as Shahi paneer makhana curry & shahi means royal ,so this is a royal Paneer makhana curry .
For cooking Paneer curry recipe we should have the following ingredients – Makhana,paneer,onion,tomato,ginger,garlic,cream,milk,chilly powder,turmeric,dried pudina leaves,cashew nuts,garam masala,poppy seeds,coriander leaves & butter .

The ingredients for Paneer curry is given below with their quantities required .

2 cup Makhana
250 gms Cottage Cheese (Paneer) How to make paneer
4 Onion (Pyaj)
4 Tomato (Tamatar)
1 " long piece Ginger (Adrak)
4 - 5 cloves Garlic (Lasun)
1/2 cup Cream (Malai)
2 cup Milk
1 tsp Red Chily Powder (Lal Mirchi)
1/4 tsp Turmeric (Haldi)
1/2 tsp Dried Pudina Leaves
1 cup Cashewnut (Kaju)
1/2 tsp Garam Masala
1 tblsp Poppy seeds (Khuskhus)
Coriander Leaves (Dhania Patta)
4 tblsp Clarified Butter (Ghee)

Method of cooking Paneer curries recipes

Pre-cooking tasks :Cut paneer into small pieces,chop onions,tomatoes,garlic & ginger .Cut cashewnuts into small pieces,coriander to fine chops ,take half cup water & soak poppy seeds & grind it after one hour .
Fry Makhana in butter & keep it aside ,again in a pan heat oil/butter & fry onion,tomato,garlic,ginger paste and fry till onion turns brown .Add grinded poppy seeds paste & fry for two minutes - & remove the pan from the stove - & add fried makhana,Paneer,cream,salt,red chilli pepper,turmeric,dried pudina leaves – mix them well & keep it for half an hour .
After that keep the pan on stove & boil the mixture,now ad milk ,when it boils add 3 cup water ,simmer it till the makhana are completely done and soft .Then cashew nuts ,garama masala ,stir occasionally for 1 minute – now our Shahi Paneer makhana curry is ready to be garnished with chopped coriander .
After garnishing serve Paneer curry hot with nan ,roti,or paratha .
