Paneer butter masala is a tasty recipe- this is a paneer recipe in which the taste of butter stay in front .The ingredients are fried in butter . Paneer butter maslala is prepared with paneer,onion,tomato puree,ginger garlic paste,buter,milk,fresh cream,poppy seeds,coconut,cinnamon stick,cloves,cardamom,bay leaf,chilli powder,turmeric,coriander powder,garam masala powder & cumin powder .

Paneer butter masala Ingredients

paneer : 250 gm
onion : 1(blended)
tomato puree : 2 tablespoon
ginger-garlic paste: 1 tablespoon
butter : 3 tablespoon
milk : 1/2 cup
fresh cream : 2 tablespoon
poppy seeds : 1 teaspoon
decicated coconut: 1 tablespoon
cinnamon stick : 1 inch
cloves : 2
bay leaf : 1
chilly powder :1 teaspoon
turmeric powder: 1/4 teaspoon
corriander powder : 1/2 teaspoon
cumin powder: 1/2 teaspoon
salt: to taste
garam masala powder : 1 teaspoon
finely chopped corriander for garnish

How to prepare Paneer butter masala .

Paneera butter masala could be cooked with in 15 minutes. We have to complete the following steps before switiching on the stove .
Cut Paneeer – The style of cutting paneer is an important step in cooking paneer recipes ,for this recipe we have to cut paneer into medium flat pieces & keep it aside .
Onion Paste : Make onion paste by grinding
Masala Powder : Roast/saute coconut & poppy seeds –make a fine powder of fried coconut,poppy seeds together with cinnamon sticks,clove and cardamom in a mixture .
Ginger –Garlic Paste : Make ginger garlic paste.
Now let us take a cleaned heavy bottomed pan
Swtich ON stove :
procedure: Heat 2 tbspoon of butter in the pan,add bay leaf,onion paste and sauté it for few seconds,add ginger-garlic paste and sauté till golden brown .Add chilli powder,turmeric powder,& all other masala powders & salt to taste – then add tomato puree & fry for 2 mins.
Add milk & fresh cream & keep it on low flame for 2 mins,you can add water if you want more gravy .
Now add paneer,any left out butter & garam masala to the gravy .Remove from the stove when the paneer is cooked & the raw smell of masalas disappeared .
Transfer the Paneer butter masala curry to a serving bowl .Garnish it with coriander leaves .-
Paneer butter masala curry is best to be served with chapatti or naan
