Paneer butter masala is a tasty recipe to be taken along with any bread or with jeera rice .This is a specila paneer butter masala recipes,this a recipie for paneer butter masala used by chefs of international hotels ,so you can make the exact five star hotel paneer butter masala at your home kichen .
To cook recipie of paneer butter masala at you kitchen you should have the following ingredients ready ,the list of ingredients required to make this recipe of paneer butter masala is given below with their quantities required .

Paneer butter masala receipe Ingredients

3 big tomatoes - pureed
250 gms paneer - cubed
2 big onions
1 bay leaf
2 cloves
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
1 tsp red chilli powder
3 tbsps cashewnut paste
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp dhania powder (dry coriander powder)
1/2 tsp kasuri methi (dry fenugreek leaves)
1 tsp tandoori masala (optional for color)
2 tsp garam masala powder
salt and lemon juice - to taste
3 tbsp butter
3 tbsp fresh cream
fresh coriander - chopped for garnish

Method of cooking Paneer butter masala recipe

The pre cooking steps involves making onions paste,tomato paste,frying paneer,making ginger garlic paste .
To make onion paste,peel onion & blanch onions for 3 mins in boiled water ,then grind them to form a paste
To make tomato paste boil tomatoes,peel them & mash them to paste or you can use tomato puree alternatively .
Heat 1bsp of ghee in apn for 2 minutes ,fry the paneer cubes in the ghee till they become golden brown in color .Now take a cup of hot water with salt & turmeric powder mixed in it ,immerse the paneer cubes in the water for 12 mins ,now remove the paneer cubes & drain them to a tussue paper & keep aside .(this proecedure makes fried paneer soft )

In the same pan heat 2 tbs of butter ,add bay leaf and the cloves,then add onion paste ,sauté till light brown ,add ginger garlic paste ,sauté for 3 mins ,add chilli powder ,followed by cashew paste & fry for another 5 min .
Add tomato puree ,crushed kasuri methi,coriander powder & turmeric powder with garam masala & salt ,Simmer it for some time ,stir occasionally .

Now add the paneer cubes we have drained & cook in low flame for 5 mins ,add small cup of water & cook on medium heat till get the desired curry consistency .Remove the pan from the fire ,stir in remaining butter & fresh cream .
Garnish the paneer butter masala curry with coriander leaves ,serve the paneer butter masala hot
