Jileby Ingredients:-
1. Maida - 2 cups
2. sugar - 1/2 cups
3. water - 1/4 cup
4. curd - 1/4 cup
5. rose water - 1 tb s
6. soda - 1 pinch
7. salt - 1 pinch
8. oil - 250 gms
Method of preparation Jileby :
Mix maida thoroughly with curd and salt. Keep it for 7 hrs to ferment.
Heat the sugar and make it a syrup. Then cool it and mix with rose water.
Add soda to the maida curd mixture and mix well.
Heat oil in a pan. Pour the maida mixture into the mould and when the
oil starts to boil, squeeze it out into the pan.
When it is golden yellow color, take out, dip in the sugar rose water
mixture and serve.
