Unniappam Unniyappam Ingredients:-
1.Rice flour - 1.kg
2.coconut - 1/4 piece
3.elachi - 3
4.jaggery - 1 kg
5.rava - 25kg
6.maidha - 250kg
7.plantain fruit - 250 kg
8.oil - sufficient quantity.
Method of preparation Unni appam Unni yappam :
Cut the coconut in to small pieces and fry them in oil. Mix the rice
flour and plantain fruits thoroughly. Add melted jaggery into that and
when it is cold, add rava, maida, coconut pieces and elachi powder. Mlx
well and make the mixture loose by adding water. Keep it for 5 to 6 hrs.
Take a pan with pits inside. Pour oil into the pan and heat it. When
the oil boils, fill the pits in the pan with the rice flour-plantain fruit
mixture made already. Flip the balls and roast both sides.
When it gets crisp, take out.
