Sweet Madakku Sweet Fold Ingredients:-
1. maida - 2 cup
2. egg - 2
3. salt - 1 pinch
4. jilebi color - 1 pinch
5. sugar - 1/2 cup
6. elachi - 3
7. oil - as required
Method of preparation Sweet Madakku Sweet Fold :
Mix maida, whipped egg, salt, jileby color and water. Mix thoroughly
as we do to make chappathi mix.
Convert the mix into balls ( just like chappathi balls )
Take three balls and press them to chappathis. Apply ghee on the three chappathis and keep them one over the other. Then press them together into one chappathi. Roll that and cut the roll into 5 equal pieces. Press each piece so as to make thick chappathi and roast it in oil.
Wet the sugar with little water and melt. When it starts to form thread on pouring down, add elachi powder and dip the roasted chappathi into that.
When the pieces are coated with sugar take them out.
