Shell Puttu Ingredients:-
(1). Rice flour – 1 kg
(2). Coconut – 1
(3). Salt, water – as required
Method of preparation Shell Puttu
Add salt in boiling water. Wet the rice flour by adding the salt water
little by little. Do not make it a paste. Break a coconut shell in circular
shape and put that inside the puttu maker. Then put a little grated coconut
over the shell piece as the first layer, wet rice flour as second layer.
Add coconut and rice flour as alternate layers and fill the put maker.
Keep it over the water filled pot and cook by heating with steam.
