Puttu Ingredients:-
(1) rice flour – ½ kg
(2) coconut – half
(3) water, salt - as required
Method of preparation Puttu
Take water in a big vessel and dissolve salt in that. Add rice flour
into it and mix thoroughly. Add water little by little. The flour should
not become a paste. Water must be just sufficient to wet the flour. Boil
water in the pot of putu maker. When water start to boil, put the slit
inside the cylinder. Add grated coconut and then rice flour. Again add
coconut and above that add rice flour. Like this add coconut and flour
and fill the cylinder. Then cook it on steam. When cooking is over, take
the cylinder, open and take out the puttu.
