Prawn Pulav South Indian,Kerala ,tamil nadu styles


Prawn Pulav Ingredients:-

(1) prawns – 1 kg
(2) big onion – 3
(3) red chilly – 10
(4) coriander seed powder – 2 tb sp
(5) ghee – 2 cups
(6) ginger paste – 2 tb sp
(7) curd – 1 cup
(8) pepper – ½ te sp
(9) turmeric powder – ½ tea sp
(10) green chilly – 12
(11) cashew nut powder – 2 tb sp
(12) lemon fruit – 1
(13) garlic paste – 1 tb sp
(14) basmathi rice – 500 gms
(15) salt – to taste
(16) coconut puree – 2 tb sp
(17) poppy seed – 2 tb sp

Method of preparation Prawn Pulav Prawns Pulao

Cut onion into pieces. Clean the prawns. Boil rice with salt. Heat ghee in a pan and add pepper. Add onion and roast that. When it becomes reddish add garlic paste. Add puree of red chilly, coriander seed powder, turmeric powder and heat. Then add coconut puree, purees of coconut, cashew, poppy seed, ginger and heat. Then add the prawn, close the vessel and heat.
When half boiled, add curd, lemon juice and salt. Add green chilly pieces.
When the prawn is well cooked, decant a little liquid from the cooked mixture. The remaining liquid and ghee must be well mixed with the cooked contents.
Then take it out. Add the cooked rice into that and mix well.
Serve hot.
