Paratha ( Porotta ) South Indian,Kerala ,tamil nadu styles
Paratha ( Porotta ) Ingredients:-
(1) maida – 2 cups
(2) salt – to taste
(3) water – ¾ cup
(4) oil – 100 gms
(5) egg – 1
Method of preparation Paratha ( Porotta )
Mix maida with salt and water. Add whipped egg, oil and water and mix
strong. Then make medium size balls . Press the balls, apply oil and spread
maida over it. Keep it on a table and cut that into two pieces Press each
piece in circular shape. Do not press with force.
Apply oil in a hot kadai and keep the pressed piece on it. Pour oil and
make both sides crisp.
Take out and press with hands
