Neyyappam Ghee Bun recipe How to make it


Neyyappam Ghee Bun recipe Ingredients:-

1. Raw rice flour – ½ kg
2. Rava – ¼ kg
3. jiggery – 500 gms
4. coconut – 1
5. sesame – 2 sp
6. maida – 2 sp
7. oil/ghee – ½ kg
8. salt – 1 pinch
9. soda powder – 1 sp

Method of preparation Neyyappam Ghee Bun recipe

1.Melt jaggery with a little water, dry and keep cool.
2. Grate coconut and extract milk.
3. Roast a small piece of coconut in oil and cut into very small pieces.
4. Roast sesame and keep separately.

Mix rice flour and rava flour in a wide vessel. Pour filtered melted jaggery into the vessel. Mix thoroughly so as to get a fine paste. Keep for 2 hrs and then add milk of coconut, soda and maida and mix well. Keep the mixture for 6 hrs and then add salt, roasted coconut pieces and roasted sesame and stir well.

Pour oil in a hot pan. Pour one bif spoon full of the mixture into the oil. Reduce the flame and roast carefully so as to make both sides crispy; and then take out.
