Kerala South Indian Malai Chicken

Ingredients Malai Chicken :
1. Chicken - 1. kg.
2. Aginomoto - 1/2 teaspoon
3. Turmeric powder , curd, salt- to- taste
4.Red chilly- 20
5. Coriander seed - 2 table spoon
6. Tomato - 1/2 kg
7. Coriander leaves - handful
8. Garlic -1
9.Ginger - 1 big piece
10. poppy seed - 1. teaspoon
11. Pepper - 10
12.Clove - 12
13. Cinnamon - 1 piece
14.Coconut - 1 piece
15. Big onion - 3
16. cashew nut - 15
Method of preparation Malai Chicken :
Red chilly, coriander seeds, tomato, coriander leaves, garlic, ginger,
poppy seeds, pepper, clove, cinnamon, cashew and onion are to be ground
separately and keep the puree ready.
Clean the Chicken and cut in to small pieces . Take a little of all the
purees, mix them with turmeric curd and salt and apply the mixture on
the chicken pieces. Keep it for 2 hours.
Fry the chicken pieces in oil. Cut the big onion in to light pieces and
fry them in the remaining oil.
Also add the purees. Now heat it . Pour a little water . Add the chicken
pieces in to the vessel and boil . When the chicken pieces get soaked
in the solution, take them out.
Decorate and serve.
