Duck Curry Thaaravu curry Vathu curry
(Thaaravu curry)
• Ingredients:-

• 1. Duck cut into pieces - 1 kg
• 2. potato - 1/4 kgs
• 3. ginger pasts - 1 tea sp
• 4. garlic past - 11/2 tea sp
• 5. big onion - 2 (cut into long thin pieces)
• 6. green chilly - 5(cut at the end)
• 7 chilly powder - 1 tea sp
• 8. Turmeric powder - 1/4 tea sp
• 9. Coriander seed powder - 1 tea sp
• 10. Masala powder - 1 tea sp
• 11. Thick curd - ( not sour ) - 1 cup
• 12. Thick milk of coconut - 1 cup
• 13. Second milk of coconut -1 1/2 cup
• 14. Coconut oil - 1/4 cup
• 15. Tomato - 2 (each cut in to 4 pieces)
• 16. Curry powder - to taste
• 17. Vinegar - 1/2 tb sp
• 18. Salt - to taste
• Method of preparation Duck Curry Thaaravu curry Vathu curry:
• Heat coconut oil in a pressure cooker and roast ginger and garlic
in that oil. Fry onion and chilly
• separately. Make a paste of ingredients together in water and
mix with onion fry and heat.
• And the duck pieces, curry leaves, ginger and salt .Pour second
milk of coconut. On boiling
• add potato pieces in to it, close the pressure cooker and heat
gently.
• Take the kadai in the stove and keep for a few minutes. Then open
it
• and again keep on the stove. Pour the broken curd in to the cooker.

• boiling add tomato pieces. Then add first milk of coconut. On
boiling
