Kallappam Toddy Bun Ingredients:-
(1) rice flour – 1 kg
(2) toddy – 1 cup
(3) sugar – 200 gms
(4) cumin seed – 1 sp
(5) elachi – 3
(6) oil, ghee – 1 sp
(7) salt and water – as required
(8) coconut – ½
Method of preparation Kallappam Toddy Bun
Mix the rice flour with toddy and stir well. Grind elachi and cumin seed
and mix with the rice flour. Add salt and water and keep for fermentation.
Add grated coconut into that. After 8 hours add sugar and stir well and
keep for 30 minutes.
Apply ghee on a plate, pour above mixture on it and keep it in the idly
cooker. Cook with steam and take out.
