Jeera Chicken Ingredients:-
(1) Chicken cut into pieces – 1 kg
(2) cumin seed - 4 tb sp
(3) pepper – 2 tb sp
(4) chilly powder – 2 tb sp
(5) Paste of ginger, garlic and green chilly mixture – 1/3 cup
(6) onion – 4
(7) lemon – 2
(8) oil – 2 tb sp
(9) salt – to taste
Method of preparation Jeera Chicken
Roast cumin seed and pepper, grind dry and mix with chilly powder. This
mixture and ginger – garlic – green chilly paste are to be
added to chicken pieces and keep for 45 minutes. Heat oil in a pan, add
onion and roast till it becomes brown color. Add salt to the chicken pieces.
Increase the flame of stove and heat the chicken.. Stir until chicken
pieces become soft. Add water and make it a gravy. Continue stirring and
heating till chicken is well cooked. Take out and pour lemon juice and
curry leaves.
