Jackfruit Sesame Bun ( Chakka Kaarayappam ) South Indian,Kerala ,tamil nadu styles Jackfruit Sesame Bun ( Chakka Kaarayappam ) Ingredients 1. jack fruit cut into small pieces - 3 cups Method of praparation Jackfruit Sesame Bun ( Chakka Kaarayappam ) : Melt and filter jaggery. Boil jack fruit pieces in melted jaggery. Stir continuously. When it is slightly waterish stop heating. The jack fruit gets coated with jaggery. At a low temperature, add ingredients 3 to 8 and mix thoroughly so as to get a thick paste. ( The paste must be a little thicker than dosa mix ) Keep it for 1 hr. Roast in heated oil. ( If it should last for 2-3 days, add grated coconut in the melted jaggery along with jack fruit. )
