Idly Ingredients:-
(1) raw rice – 500 gms
(2) black gram ( skin removed ) – 100 gms
(3) salt, water – as required
Method of preparation Idly
Wash rice and black gram and soak in water for 8 hrs. Take out from water
and grind. It is better to grind in the previous night. One cup of cooked
rice also can be mixed. Add water, mix well and keep for fermentation.
Next morning add salt, stir well and steam cook in an idly cooker.
