Method of preparation Idiyappam
Grate the coconut. Boil water in a vessel. When it boils add 1 sp oil and salt. Take rice flour in a big vessel. Add boiling water little by little and mix well. There should be no lumps. Then mix strongly. Add just required quantity of water only. Make it just like chappathi mix.
Apply oil on the idly pan and put a little grated coconut in the pits.
Fill the idiyappam mould with the prepared mix and squeeze that out on
the grated coconut kept on the idly pan, in circular shape. Close the
idly cooker and steam cook.
