Flakes Ladu ( Aval Unda ) Ingredients:-
1. rice flakes - 50 gm
2. sugar - 150 gms
3. coconut crunch - 1 cup
4. dal - 1 spn
5. sesame - 1 spn
6. maida - 250 gms
7. salt - 1 pinch
8. oil - 200 gms
9. water - 1/2 cup
10. yeast - 1 pinch
Method of preparation Flakes Ladu ( Aval Unda ) :
Roast dal and sesame in oil and take out. Take sugar in a pan and melt.
When it starts forming thread while pouring down, add coconut crunch and
stir. Then add flakes, dal and sesame and stir. When it becomes sticky,
take out.
Wet maida with water and add yeast and salt. It must be as soft as bread.
Make maida balls of medium size. Pierce your finger at the center of
each ball and fill that place with flakes and then close the hole. Keep
for 30 minutes and then get them fried in oil.
