Elayada Plantain Leaf Bun South Indian,Kerala ,tamil nadu styles
Elayada Plantain Leaf Bun Ingredients:-
(1) rice flour – 1 cup
(2) grated coconut – 2 cup
(3) jaggery – 100 gms
(4) oil – 1 sp
(5) water – 1 cup
(6) salt – 1 pinch
Method of preparation Elayada Plantain Leaf Bun
Rub the grated coconut with the jiggery. Boil water in a vessel and
add salt and oil.
Add rice flour little by little and mix well. Stir well so as to prevent
formation of
Lumps. Make small balls with the mixture. Keep one ball on a piece of
plantain leaf
And press and spread some coconut-jaggery mixture on it. Take another
piece of plantain leaf, press one ball on it and spread the mixture. Keep
that above the first leaf. Do this for all the balls. And the keep all
the leaves together in an idly cooker, steam cook it and take out
