Dal Pulav dhal Pulao daal Pulavu South Indian,Kerala ,tamil nadu styles


Dal Pulav dhal Pulao daal Pulavu Ingredients:-

(1) biriyani rice – 2 cups
(2) green gram dal – 1 cup
(3) ripe tomato – 2
(4) big onion – 4
(5) garlic puree – 2 tb sp
(6) melted ghee – ¾ cup
(7) cashew nut puree – 1 tb sp
(8) ginger puree – 1 tea sp
(9) cinnamon – 6 pieces
(10) coconut puree – ¼ cup
(11) clove – 12
(12) thick curd – ¼ cup
(13) green chilly – 8
(14) elachi – 4
(15) lemon juice – 1 tb sp
(16) poppy seed puree – 1 tea sp
(17) salt – to taste
(18) coriander leaves – ½ cup
(19) minced mutton – 300 gms

Method of preparation Dal Pulav dhal Pulao daal Pulavu

Wash the rice and boil. When half cooked add salt and lemon juice. See to it that the cooked rice should not wet with water inside the cooker.

Cut tomato and onion into pieces. Mildly roast green gram dal and then add into boiling water. Once it is cooked, filter out.

Heat ghee in a pan and roast onion in that. Add ginger puree, garlic puree, minced mutton and tomato.

Mix coconut puree with curd and add this mixture to the mutton. Add cashew puree and poppy seed puree and heat well.

Add coriander leaves and pieces of green chilly. When the liquid part in the mixture

Starts solidification, stop heating. Take cooked rice in a thick bottomed vessel. Add the cooked curry into that. Add cooked green gram dal. Once again add the three items one by one.
Close the vessel with a plate and bake it.
