Chicken Kuruma Ingredients:-
1. Chicken cut into pieces - 1 kg
2. coriander seeds powder - 1 tb sp
3. turmeric powder - 1/2 tb sp
4. chilly powder - 1/2 tb sp
5. big onion - 5
6. curry leaves - a little
7. tomato - 2
8. green chilly - 5
9. ginger cut into long pieces - 2 tea sp
10. coconut oil - 1 cup
11. salt - to taste
Method of preparation Chicken Kuruma :
Cut onion into small pieces. Take half the quantity from it and grind
it in a mixture and keep separately.
Fry the powder ingredients in a kadai and grind them to make a puree.
Take oil in the kadai and heat. Add the remaining quantity of onion, green
chilly, ginger and fry them. Add the onion paste to the puree of powder
ingredients. Add tomato pieces, heat gently. Then add the chicken pieces,
stir well, close the vessel and heat.
When the vegetables are cooked and the liquid gets thick, put off the
flame and remove the vessel from the stove.
