Chicken Cashew Curry South Indian,Kerala ,tamil nadu styles
•Chicken Cashew Curry Ingredients:-
•
• 1. chicken pieces - 500 gms
• 2. big onion - 2
• 3. small piece of ginger - 1 tea sp
• 4. small pieces of garlic - 1 tb sp
• 5. green chilly (torn) - 5
• 6. tender coconut/coconut - 1
• ( Take 1/4 of the coconut and make it into small pieces. convert
the remaining part of coconut into crunches. To the crunches add 3/4 cup
of water and then first milk of coconut. Again add 1 1/2 cup of water
and take second milk.)

• 7. turmeric powder - 1/2 tea sp
• 8. chilly powder - 1/2 tea sp
• 9. coriander seed powder - 1 tea sp
• 10. tomato - 2
• 11. oil - 1 tb sp
• 12. ghee - 1 tb sp
• 13. elachi - 3
• 14. clove - 3
• 15. cinnamon - 3 small pieces
• 16. curry leaves - a little
• 17. cashew nut - 1/2 cup
• 18. water - 1 1/2 cup
• 19. salt - to taste

• Method of preparation Chicken Cashew Curry :
•
• Take a vessel with thick bottom. Pour oil and heat. Add pieces
of onion, ginger, garlic, green chilly and coconut. Stir till the onion
is fried. Add turmeric powder, coriander seed powder, chilly powder and
stir well. Add tomato and salt. While heating tomato add the chicken puree
also. Stir well for 2 to 3 minutes. Add one cup of water and keep heating
till the chicken is cooked. When the solid part becomes thick, add first
milk of coconut. In case the liquid requires to be thicker, dissolve corn
flower in water and add the solution to the chicken.

• Heat a pan and pour ghee into that. Add elachi, clove, cinnamon,
curry leaves and fry them.. Add the mixture to the chicken. The curry
must be kept in the same vessel to cool
