Chicken Carrot Masala Roast (Chicken Carrot Thoran) South Indian,Kerala ,tamil nadu styles

Chicken Carrot Masala Roast (Chicken Carrot Thoran) Ingredients:-

1. carrot cut into small pieces - 1 cup
2. chicken without bone cut into small pieces - 2 cup
3. big onion cut into small pieces - 1 cup
4. coconut - 1/2 of a coconut
5. fenugreek - 1/4 tea sp
6. garlic - 4 pellets
7. green chilly - 4
8. oil, turmeric powder, salt - as required
9. mustard seed - 1/2 tea spoon
10. curry leaves - a little

Method of preparation Chicken Carrot Masala Roast (Chicken Carrot Thoran) :

Heat 2 tb sp oil in a pan and crack mustard seeds in that. Add curry leaves and heat gently.

Smash the ingredients 4 to 7 and add them in the pan and heat mildly to remove water. Add carrot and big onion, stir for 3 minutes.

Add chicken and stir. Mix it with salt, turmeric powder and one cup of water. Close the vessel and heat it at low flame.

Stir well when water is completely evaporated. Stop heating, once the chicken is well cooked.
Take out and serve with rice as well as chappathy.
