Bowl Appam ( Kinnathappam ) South Indian,Kerala ,tamil nadu styles
Bowl Appam ( Kinnathappam ) Ingredients:-
1. roasted , sieved rice flour - 2 cups
2. coconut crunches - 4 cup
3. sugar - 1 cup
4. ghee - 1 tb sp
5. elachi powder - 1/2 tea sp
6. salt - 1 pinch
Method of preparation Bowl Appam ( Kinnathappam ) :
Extract three cups of thick milk of coconut. Mix it thoroughly with rice
flour without formation of lumps. A little water can be added if required.
Mix sugar, salt, and elachi and stir well and keep for 30 minutes.
Spread ghee inside a steel bowl. Fill the bowl with the above mixture
and keep in an idly cooker for steam cooking.
Take out, cut into pieces and serve.
