Banana Toffees ( Nendirapazham Mittai ) Ingredients:-
1. banana fruit - 1
2. maida - 100 gms
3. yeast - 1 pinch
4. sugar - 200 gms
5. water - 1/4 cup
6. oil - 150 gms
Method of preparation Banana Toffees ( Nendirapazham Mittai ) :
Cut the banana into 4 pieces. Shape them as small cubes. Wet maida along
with yeast and allow to ferment.
Heat oil in a pan. Dip the banana pieces in the maida, take out and fry
in oil.
Melt sugar in a bowl. Mix the melted sugar with the fried banana pieces.
Grind the remaining quantity of sugar to fine powder. Roll the sugar coated
banana pieces on the powdered sugar, one by one.
