Adai Ingredients:-
1. Rice flour – ½ kg
2. coconut – 1
3. jaggery – 200 gms
4. cumin seed – ½ sp
5. elachi – 2
6. salt, water – as required
Method of preparation Adai
1. Grate half part of coconut and mix with powdered elachi, and jiggery.
2. Mix rice flour with cumin seed powder, grated coconut ( other half
), salt and water.
Spread the rice mix on a soft plantain leaf as a thin film in circular
shape. Add a little melted jiggery mix at the center. Fold the leaf from
four sides and keep inside an idly cooker and boil.
Instead of idly cooker apply oil in a pan and roast both sides.
