Tri Color Kanchi Ingredients:-
(1) Champa rice (cut into two) – 1 cup
(2) chopped carrot – 1
(3) chopped beat root – 1
(4) spinach or drum stick leaves (chopped) - ½ cup
(5) small onion chopped – ¼ cup
(6) green gram – 25 grams
(7) coconut oil – 1 tea spoon
(8) salt – adjust to taste
Method of preparation Tri Color Kanchi
Spread the small onion in a tawa and roast for 5 minutes on crisp in a
microwave oven. Roast carrot and beat root together in the same method.
For spinach leaves, roast for 1 minute only on crisp. Cook the green gram
and champa rice together in a cooker. Then mix together all these items,
add salt and water and boil once.
When it is slightly hot, this can be served to jaundice patients three
times a day.
