Thairu Vada Curd Vada South Indian,Kerala ,tamil nadu styles receipe
Thairu Vada Curd Vada Ingredients:
(1) black gram dhal (skin removed) – 500 grams
(2) ginger – 1 piece
(3) green chilly – 12 (cut into small pieces)
(4) Curry leaves – a little
(5) salt – to taste
(6) coconut oil – 400 ml
For Curd Vada:- Curd – 4 cups
Green chilly – 4 (cut into small pieces)
Chilly powder – 1 tea spoon
Method of preparation Thairu Vada Curd Vada
Soak black gram in water and grind to form a fine paste. Add ingredients
(2), (3), (4) and (5) and mix well. Heat oil in a pan. Take a little quantity
of the mixture, press them in the shape of vada, make a hole at the center,
drop into boiling oil, fry and take out.
Mix chilly pieces and chilly powder in the curd. Add cold vada into the
curd and keep it dipped in the curd for 2 to 3 hours. Then take them out
and eat with the curd.
