Mixed Leaf Kofta South Indian,Kerala ,tamil nadu styles receipe

Mixed Leaf Kofta Ingredients:-
(1) Leaves of spinach, yellow pumpkin and hog weed – each ¼ cup
(2) gram flour – 4 table spoon
(3) asafoetida powder – ½ tea spoon
(4) chilly powder – ½ tea spoon
(5) turmeric powder – ¼ tea spoon
(6) oil – 2 tea spoon
(7) salt – to taste

Method of preparation Mixed Leaf Kofta

Mix all ingredients together, add water and smash with hand. Make small balls with the mixture and steam cook the balls for 15 minutes in an idly cooker or in a steamer. Then allow it to cool. Then spread the paste in circular shape with very little thickness and cut into pieces. Apply oil inside a non stick pan and roast the pieces in the pan. Roast both sides.
In case steam cooking in microwave, it will take only 5 minutes and also the leaves will not loose their color and nutrition.
