Masala Vada South Indian,Kerala ,tamil nadu styles receipe
Masala Vada Ingredients:-
(1) Vada Dhal – 1 kg
(2) green chilly – 15 (cut into small pieces)
Onion – 250 gram
Curry leaves – a little
Ginger – 2 pieces
(3) salt – as required
Asafoetida powder – ½ tea spoon
(4) cinnamon – 1 piece
Fennel – 1 tea spoon
Elachi – 5
Pepper – 10
Clove – 4
Method of preparation Masala Vada
Soak the dhal and then grind that. Cut ingredients under (2) into small
pieces and mix with the dhal. Heat and grind all masala items and add
into the dhal mixture. Add salt and asfoetida also. Stir well. Heat oil
in a pan. Take small quantity of the mixture and press on the palm in
the shape of vada. Add the vada into the boiling oil, fry and then take
out.
