Khasa Khasa Poori Poppy Seed Poori Ingredients:-
(1) maida – ½ kilo
(2) sourless curd – 2 cup
Yellow part of egg – 2
Sugar – 1 tea spoon
Salt – to taste
(3) sesame seed – 1 tea spoon
Poppy seed – 1 tea spoon
(4) yeast – 2 pinch
Warm milk = ¾ cup
Sugar – ½ tea spoon
Method of preparation Khasa Khasa Poori Poppy Seed Poori
MIx the ingredients under (4) and keep the mixture for fermentation. Mix
the ingredients under (2) and add the maida into that little by little
and stir well without allowing lump formation. Add the fermented yeast
into that. Keep the mixture for 2 hours.
Make small balls with the mixture and press them thick on a slab in the
size of poori. Fix sesame seeds and poppy seeds on both sides of the poori.
Heat oil in a pan and fry the poori in the boiling oil and take out.
