Chicken Biriyani Ingredients:-
(1) Biriyani rice soaked in water for on hour
and taken out – 1 cup
(2) Cinnamon, clove, elachi – 1 each
(3) Chicken legs – 4 Nos.
(4) Big onion chopped into pieces – 1
(5) Green chilly – 3
(6) Ginger – small piece
(7) Garlic – 1
(8) Rumba leaves – 10 grams
(9) Poppy seed – 10 grams
(10) Cashew nut – 15 grams
(11) Ghee – 1 tea spoon
(12) Tomato pieces without seeds – ¼ cup
Method of preparation Chicken Biriyani
Pour ghee into pyrex dish and roast cinnamon, clove, elachi, rumba leaves
and onion in that on crisp for 2 minutes. Add tomato and roast for 2 more
minutes. Grind ginger, green chilly and garlic together and add that paste
also and roast for another 2 minutes on crisp. Add cashew nut, poppy seed
and a little water into the mixer and grind. Take the mixture out and
add this mixture along with turmeric powder into the pyrex dish and boil
for 3 minutes. Then add chicken pieces and cook for 5 minutes. Add rice,
rumba leaves and 1 ½ cup of water into that and boil for 10 to
12 minutes in microwave. (Keep the vessel opened only)
