Cherupayar Vada Green Gram Vada Ingredients:-
(1) rice – 100 grams
(2) green gram – 250 grams
(3) green chilly – 6 (cut into small pieces)
(4) asafoetida – a little
(5) salt – to taste
(6) oil – 400 ml
Method of preparation Cherupayar Vada Green Gram Vada
Soak rice in water and grind. Boil green gram in a cooker and take out.
Add chilly pieces, asafoetida and salt into the green gram. Mix the cooked
green gram and rice thoroughly. Take small quantity of the mixture and
press them in the shape of vada. Fry the vada in boiling oil and take
out.
