Chakka Varattiyathu Jack Fruit Jam Ingredients:-
(1) Jack fruit – ½ kg
(2) Jaggery melted in water and filtered – 300 grams
(3) Smashed elachi – 5 Nos.
Method of preparation Chakka Varattiyathu Jack Fruit Jam
Clean the jack fruits, mix with melted jiggery and smashed elachi and
the mixture is smashed in a mixer. Transfer the mixture into a tawa and
cook in microwave for 30 minutes. Stir every 10 minutes. After 30 minutes
heat the mixture on crisp for 50 minutes, take out and serve.
