Cauli flower Kuruma South Indian,Kerala ,tamil nadu styles receipe
Cauli flower Kuruma Ingredients:-
(1) Cauli flower – 1 (small size)
(2) Carrot cut into pieces with 1 inch thickness – 1
(3) Cooked green peas – 25 grams
(4) Big onion chopped into long pieces – 1
(5) Ginger chopped into small pieces – ½ tea spoon
(6) Garlic chopped into pieces – ½ tea spoon
(7) Tomato – 2
(8) Coconut milk – 400 ml
(9) Poppy seed – 5 grams
(10) Fennel – ½ tea spoon
(11) Cumin seed – ¼ tea spoon
(12) Green chilly – 4 Nos.
(13) Sugar – ½ tea spoon
(14) Vegetable oil – 1 table spoon
(15) Cinnamon – 2 pieces
(16) Clove – 2
(17) Coriander leaves – a little
(18) Salt – adjust to taste
Method of preparation Cauli flower Kuruma
Pour oil in pyrex dish and roast cinnamon, ginger, garlic and clove for
2 minutes on crisp. Add pieces of big onion and heat on crisp for 3 minutes.
In another dish heat tomato, half tea spoon sugar and half tea spoon salt
for 3 minutes on crisp. Then take that out, smash and pour 50 ml water
to make it a puree. Soak poppy seed, cumin seed, fennel and green chilly
in water for 2 hour and grind them in a mixer.
Add cauli flower, carrot and a little water into the first dish, stir,
close the vessel and heat for 5 minutes in microwave. Then add the tomato
puree, the paste from the mixer and 100 ml coconut milk and heat on crisp
for 2 minutes. Finally add the remaining quantity of coconut milk, keep
the microwave opened and cook for 5 minutes. Then take that out, sprinkle
coriander leaves and serve.
