Kerala Bonda South Indian recipi
Bonda South Indian,Kerala ,tamil nadu styles receipe
Bonda Ingredients:-
(1) gram flour – 1 kg
(2) potato – 1 kg
(3) big onion – ½ kg
(4) ginger – 4 pieces
(5) green chilly – 15
(6) curry leaves – a little
(7) salt – to taste
(8) chilly powder – 2 tea spoon
(9) coconut oil – 1 kg
(10) mustard seed – 1 tea spoon
Method of preparation Bonda
Cook the potato, remove skin and smash. Cut onion, ginger, green chilly
and curry leaves into small pieces. Add mustard seeds in a heated pan
and when the seeds splutter, add the smashed potato and pieces of onion,
ginger, curry leaves and green chilly. Roast the mixture in the pan and
add salt also. Remove the pan from the stove. Make small balls with the
mixture.
mIx gram flour, chilly powder, salt and water and make that a loose paste.
Keep the balls immersed in the gram flour paste. Heat oil in the pan and
when the oil starts boiling, add the balls into the oil, fry and take
out.
