Yam Pickle Cheena Achar South Indian,Kerala ,tamil nadu styles receipe
Yam Pickle Cheena Achar Ingredients:
(1) Yam – ½ kg
(2) Turmeric powder – ½ tea spoon
(3) Chilly powder – 2 table spoon
(4) Gingili oil – 1 cup
(5) Asafoetida powder – 1 pinch
(6) Vinegar – 100 ml
(7) Salt – adjust to taste
Procedure for cooking Yam Pickle Cheena Achar
Heat oil in a vessel and add yam pieces into that and heat. Add chilly
powder and turmeric powder. Het a little Gingili oil and add a pinch of
asafoetida into that. Add vinegar and stir well. After cooling transfer
the pickle into an airtight jar.
