Vegetable Uppuma South Indian,Kerala ,tamil nadu styles receipe
Vegetable Uppuma Ingredients:
(1) Bombay Rava – 200 grams
(2) Grated carrot – 1 (big)
(3) Big onion – 1 (chopped into small pieces)
(4) Green chilly – 3 (chopped into small pieces)
(5) Chopped ginger – 1 tea spoon
(6) Green peas – 50 grams
(7) Oil – 1 tea spoon
(8) Salt – as required
Procedure for cooking Vegetable Uppuma
Roast the rava either in crisp or in combination method for 9 minutes.
In the same method, roast carrot and big onion for 7 minutes after pouring
oil. After 5 minutes, add ginger, green chilly, curry leaves and salt.
Again roast for 2 minutes. Take the vessel out, add the roasted rava and
stir well to mix thoroughly. Pour 750 ml. water and mix well. Keep that
in a bowl or pyrex dish and cook for 5 minutes in microwave. Again pour
100 ml water stir and cook for 2 more minutes and then take out and serve.
