Vegetable Bonda South Indian,Kerala ,tamil nadu styles receipe
Vegetable Bonda Ingredients:
(1) Potato – 250 grams
(2) Carrot – 1 (cut into thin pieces)
Chopped ginger – 1 tea spoon
Green chilly chopped into small pieces – 2 tea spoon
Cooked green peas – 50 grams
Turmeric powder – ½ tea spoon
(3) Big onion – 2 (chopped into thin pieces)
(4) Maida flour – 100 grams
(5) Salt – adjust to taste
(6) Oil – 2 yea spoon
Procedure for cooking Vegetable Bonda
Wash the potato and cook for 6 minutes in microwave (750 Watts). Peel
off the skin and smash the potato. Roast the big onion for 3 minutes in
combination. Add all the ingredients under (2) to that, stir well and
cook for 4 minutes. Add the smashed potato into this mixture and make
balls with the size of a lemon.
Mix maida flour, salt, turmeric powder and water and make the mixture
just like idly mix. Dip the balls one by one into the mix and spread them
on a tawa without touching each other. Pour the remaining quantity of
oil over the balls and cook the balls for 6 minutes in combination. Flip
the balls after 4 minutes while cooking.
