Summer Ice Cream South Indian,Kerala ,tamil nadu styles receipe
Summer Ice Cream Ingredients:
(1) Milk – 1 cup
(2) Egg – 2
(3) Sugar – 100 grams
(4) Jileby color – 1 pinch
(5) Mango (well ripe) – 2
Procedure for cooking Summer Ice Cream
Mix the milk and sugar, stir well and heat. When the sugar is melted add
whipped yellow part of egg. Make the mixture thick by heating with a low
flame. Sprinkle 1 tea spoon sugar in white part of egg and whip well.
Mix jileby color also. Add this mixture into the milk – egg mixture
prepared first. Pour the mixture into a dry ice cream tray and keep foe
cooling. When it is 75% cooled, transfer the custard into a vessel. Pour
fresh and pure mango juice on the custard, after removing the skin, fiber
and other particles from the juice. Rotate the mixture in a mixer and
pour it back in the ice cream tray and keep for chilling. Then decorate
with cherry and badam.
