Stir Fried Vegetables South Indian,Kerala ,tamil nadu styles receipe
Stir Fried Vegetables Ingredients:
(1) Button mushrooms - 4, 6
(2) Soya tofu (bean curd) – 100 grams
(3) French beans – 4, 6
(4) Chinese cabbage – ¼ (small)
(5) Broccoli – ½ (medium size)
(6) Capsicum – 1 (medium size)
(7) Baby corn – 4, 6 (small)
(8) Carrot – 1 (medium size)
(9) Spinach – 10, 12 leaves
(10) Garlic – 6, 8 pellets
(11) Spring onions – 2
(12) Corn starch – 1 table spoon
(13) Oil – 4 table spoon
(14) Salt – adjust to taste
(15) Aginomoto – ½ tea spoon
(16) Sugar – 1 tea spoon
(17) Light Soya sauce – 2 table spoon
(18) Pepper powder – ½ tea spoon
(19) Roasted sesame seeds – 1 table spoon
Procedure for cooking Stir Fried Vegetables
Cut the mushroom into 4 pieces. Cut bean curd into 8 – 10 pieces.
Then dip them in salty hot water and then chop into small pieces of 1
inch length. Wash the broccoli, cut into pieces, soak in hot water for
15 minutes and filter out. Wash the capsicum, remove the seed and cut
in diamond shape with 1 inch length. Wash baby corn and carrot and cut
them vertically and horizontally. Chop the spinach into 2 pieces. Remove
the outer skin of garlic. Wash the spring onion and chop into small pieces
and keep aside the green part for decoration.
Mix corn starch in 1 cup of water and stir well. Pour oil into a wok and
fry the spring onion and garlic in that. Add the chopped broccoli, mushroom,
carrot and baby corn and stir well. Then add beans capsicum and Chinese
cabbage and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Boil one cup of water and add salt
and aginomoto into that, stir well and add that into the wok. Finally
add spinach leaves, tofu, corn starch solution and sesame seed and stir
well. Serve hot.
