Rajma Masala South Indian,Kerala ,tamil nadu styles receipe
Preparation:
(1) Rajma – 1 cup
(2) Big onion – 2
(3) Ginger – 1 piece
(4) Garlic – 5 – 6 pellets
(5) Oil – 2 table spoon
(6) Green chilly – 2 (chopped)
Tomato – 3
Clove – 2
Black elachi – 3
Cinnamon – 2 pieces
Salt – adjust to taste
Coriander seed powder – 2 tea spoons
Curry masala powder – ½ tea spoon
Bay leaves – a little
(7) Cinnamon – 1 stick
(8) Black elachi – 2 (crushed)
(9) Coriander leaves (chopped into small pieces) – a little
Procedure for cooking Rajma Masala
Soak the rajma in 5 cups of water the previous night. Add salt and cook
it well in a cooker. Stir well and crush a few rajma.
Heat oil in a pan and roast onion, garlic and ginger till the color changes
to brown. Now add all the ingredients under (6) and heat the pan until
the oil becomes translucent. Finally transfer the cooked rajma into this
pan and heat for 5 minutes. Add sufficient quantity of water, close the
vessel with a lid and then boil for 5 – 6 minutes. Then stop heating,
take it out and serve hot.
